Guide to Installing and Setting Up the Billwerk+ Pay Plugin in WooCommerce

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of installing and configuring the Billwerk+ Pay plugin in your WooCommerce webshop.

Plugin Installation

1. Log in to your WooCommerce: 

Log in to your webshop via the WordPress dashboard. 

2. Navigate to Plugins: 

Click on Plugins in the menu on the left. 

3. Add a new plugin: 

Click the Add New button. 

4. Search for Billwerk: 

In the search bar, type "Billwerk". 

5. Install Billwerk+ Pay: 

Click Install Now next to the plugin "Billwerk+ Pay." 

6. Activate the plugin: 

After installation, go to Plugins, find Billwerk in the list, and click Activate.

Plugin Setup

Note: Not all fields need to be configured. 

1. Open the plugin settings: 

Navigate to the Billwerk plugin settings via WooCommerce > Settings > Payments

Then click Manage next to Billwerk+ Pay. 

2. Activate the plugin: 

Check the box for Enable Plugin.

3. Name the payment method: 

In the Title field, enter the name of the payment method as it should appear during checkout, e.g., "Credit Card." 

4. Insert API key: 

• Paste your API key into the Live Private Key field. 
• Click Save and Confirm.
  
  

5. Select payment methods: 

In the Payment Methods section, select all Visa and Mastercard options.

6. Set up payment logos: 

In the Payment Logos field, choose the logos to display at checkout, e.g., all Mastercard and Visa logos. Set the logo height to 20.

7. Configure statuses: 

• Created: Select Pending Payment for customers who go to checkout but do not complete the payment. 
• Authorized: Select Processing for payments that have been completed but not yet settled. 
• Settled: Select Completed for orders where the payment has been captured, and the order is finalized.

8. Save changes: 

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Setting Up MobilePay (if enabled)

If MobilePay is activated in your contract, follow these steps to configure this payment method: 

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.

2. Click Manage next to the payment method Billwerk+ Pay MobilePay. 

3. Activate MobilePay: 

Check the box to enable this payment method.

4. Name the payment method: 

Optionally, rename the method to "MobilePay." 

5. Save changes by clicking Save Changes.
