Revenue-based repayment
Denmark: Repayments are collected as a fixed weekly amount, withdrawn automatically every Wednesday via direct debit (Betalingsservice). The weekly amount is agreed at the time of your application, so you'll always know exactly what to expect.
There are no penalties for paying back early, and no interest charges — only the single fixed fee agreed upfront. The total amount you repay is fixed from day one; the weekly direct debit simply spreads this across the repayment period.
Finland: Repayments are designed to flex with your business. Rather than a fixed amount due each month, a small percentage of your daily card revenues — typically between 10% and 20%, agreed at the time of your application — is automatically set aside to repay your balance.
This means you pay a little more during busy periods and a little less when things are quieter. There are no penalties for paying back early, and no interest charges — only the single fixed fee agreed upfront.
What happens on quiet days
Finland: It's completely fine if you don't take card payments every day — weekends and quiet periods are no problem. The minimum required repayment each month is 3% of the borrowed amount.
If you're planning to close for an extended period (a holiday, for example), it's a good idea to let us know in advance. A planned break is perfectly fine.
Denmark: Payments are withdrawn automatically every Wednesday, so there's nothing you need to do to keep your repayments on track. Just make sure your account has sufficient funds ahead of each payment date.
Setting up direct debit (DK ONLY)
Denmark: Once your application is approved, you'll receive an email from Liberis asking you to set up your Betalingsservice direct debit mandate via GoCardless. You must complete this step before funding can be issued — so please keep an eye on your inbox and action it promptly.
If you don't receive the email, or if you encounter an error when completing the setup, contact our support team at capitalsupport@flatpay.dk and we'll arrange for a new email to be sent.
When do payments start?
Your first payment will typically begin 1.5–6 weeks after your direct debit is approved, depending on timing.
Can I repay the full balance early?
It's possible to repay your full balance early. Contact our support team if you'd like to arrange this.
Tracking your repayments
You can see a full breakdown of your repayments — including your current outstanding balance and each day's (or week's) deduction — in the Capital section of your Flatpay dashboard. You can also export this data if you need to share it with your accountant.
