Setting Up WiFi on Your POS Tablet

Managing a stable internet connection for your POS is crucial to avoiding loss of connection during business hours. This guide describes connecting your POS tablet to either WiFi or Mobile Hotspot

Connect Your POS Tablet to WiFi

Follow these steps to connect your POS tablet to a WiFi network.

1. Exit the Flatpay POS app and return to the home screen.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select WiFi Settings.
4. Turn on WiFi.
5. Find and select your WiFi network.
6. Enter the password and connect.

If you're unable to access WiFi, you can set up a mobile hotspot from your device.

Set Up a Mobile Hotspot

For Android

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Network & Internet.
3. Choose Hotspot & Tethering.
4. Turn on the WiFi Hotspot.

For iOS

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to Mobile Data.
3. Select Personal Hotspot and turn it on.

You can now connect to this mobile hotspot via the POS tablet.
