How Do I Clear Cache?
Caching helps speed up the loading of apps and websites by storing temporary files locally on your device. However, it can sometimes cause issues if cached files become corrupt or outdated. Here are some step-by-step guides on how to clear cache on PC and MAC.
MAC
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Privacy and security.
- Click Delete browsing data.
- Choose Time range.
- Check Browsing history.
- Check Cookies and other site data.
- Check Cached images and files.
- Click Delete data.
Safari
- Click Safari in the menu at the top left and select Settings.
- Click on the Advanced tab and enable Show features for web developers at the bottom.
- Click on the tab Develop on the top bar.
- In the drop down menu click on Empty Cache.
Microsoft Edge
- Click on Edge in the top left menu.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Mark Cached images and files.
- Choose time range to All time.
- Click Clear now.
Firefox
- Click History in the top left menu.
- Choose Clear recent history.
- Mark Temporary cached files and pages.
- Correct When to Everything.
- Click Clear.
PC

- Click on the Vertical dots in the top right corner.
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy and security.
- Click Delete browsing data.
- Enable all checkboxes.
- Click Delete data.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the Horizontal dots in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Click Privacy, search, and services.
- Locate Clear browsing data now.
- Click Choose what to clear.
- Change the dropdown - Time range to All time.
- Enable all the check boxes.
- Click Clear now.
Firefox
- Click on the Horizontal lines (burger menu) in the top right corner.
- Choose Settings.
- Click Privacy & Security.
- Click Clear Data.
- Enable Cookies and site data and Temporary cached files and pages.
- Tap Clear.
