Clear cache (iPhone and Android)

Sometimes your browser (internet) needs clear cache to function properly. Find your browser in the list below. 


When should I clear cache

  • If websites or apps are not loading correctly. 
  • If you see outdated versions of content. 
  • If your device is slower than usual. 
  • Note: Clearing the cache may require you to log back into some services. 


How Do I Clear Cache? 

Caching helps speed up the loading of apps and websites by storing temporary files locally on your device. However, it can sometimes cause issues if cached files become corrupt or outdated. Here are some step-by-step guides on how to clear cache on iPhone and Android.


iPhone

Safari

  • Open Settings.
  • Click on Apps.
  • Scroll down and click on Safari.  
  • Tap Clear history and website data
  • Choose All history.
  • Tap Clear history.

Google Chrome 

  • Open Chrome.
  • Click on the Three dots in the bottom right corner.
  • Click on History.
  • Click Delete browsing data.
  • Click Time range.
  • Click All Time.
  • Click on Browsing data.
  • Check Cached images and files.
  • Click Confirm.
  • Click Delete data.


Microsoft Edge

  • Open Edge.
  • Click on the Burger menu in the right bottom corner.
  • Select History
  • Click on the Trash can.
  • Select Cashed images and files and mark it.
  • Click Time range
  • Select All time.
  • Click Back in the upper left corner.
  • Click Clear now.


Firefox

  • Open Firefox.
  • Click on the Burger menu in the right bottom corner.
  • Click Settings.
  • Scroll down and click Data management.
  • Enable Cache only.
  • Click Clear private data
  • Confirm and click Ok.


Android

Google Chrome

  • Open Chrome.
  • Click on the Three dots in the top right corner.
  • Click on History.
  • Click Clear browsing data.
  • Click Time range.
  • Click All time.
  • Check Cached images and files.
  • Click Clear data.
  • Click Confirm.


Microsoft Edge

  • Open Edge.
  • Click on the Burger menu in the right bottom corner. 
  • Select History.
  • Click on the Trash can.
  • Select Cashed images and files and mark it.
  • Click Time range.
  • Select All time.
  • Click Delete data.


Firefox

  • Open Firefox.
  • Click on the Three dots in the top right corner.
  • Click Settings.
  • Scroll down and click Delete browsing data.
  • Enable Cached images and files.
  • Click Delete browsing data
  • Confirm by pressing Delete.
