To ensure your payment terminal functions optimally, it needs to be connected to the internet. Follow this simple guide to connect your payment terminal to WiFi or a mobile hotspot.
Connect to WiFi
- Go to Settings
From the main menu on your payment terminal, navigate to “Settings.” - Select Device Settings
Tap on “Device Settings.” - Select WiFi
Tap on WiFi in the menu. - Turn on WiFi
Make sure that WiFi is turned on. Slide the button to the “On” position if it is not already done. - Find and select a network
Your payment terminal will now scan for available WiFi networks. Find and select the desired network. - Enter password
If the network is protected, enter the password and tap “OK.” - Confirm connection
Once connected, the network name will be marked, and the WiFi symbol will appear on the screen.
Connect to mobile hotspot
Activate mobile hotspot on your phone:
- For Android
Go to “Settings” > “Network & internet” > “Hotspot & tethering” > “WiFi hotspot” and turn it on. - For iPhone
Go to “Settings” > “Mobile Data” > “Personal Hotspot” and turn it on.
- Find Hotspot name and password
Check the network name and password on your phone. - Open settings on your payment terminal
Go to the home screen on your tablet and tap on “Settings.” - Select WiFi
In the settings menu, tap on “Wi-Fi settings.” - Turn on WiFi
Make sure that WiFi is turned on. Slide the button to the “On” position if it is not already on. - Select your mobile hotspot
Find and select your mobile hotspot name from the list of available networks. - Enter password
Enter the password for your mobile hotspot and tap “OK.” - Confirm connection
Once connected, the hotspot name will be marked, and the WiFi symbol will appear at the top of the screen.
