How to create categories and products

This guide will teach you how to create and manage categories and products for your POS.

To start creating categories and products, first, go to the FLATPAY PORTAL

Creating a Category

1. Go to "POS" through the menu on the left
2. Go to "Categories"
3. Press "Add category"
4. Enter the category name and VAT rate. If you haven't entered your VAT rate yet, this guide shows you how to do it.

Creating a Product

1. Go to "POS" through the menu on the left
2. Go to "Products"
3. Press "Add product" under "Actions"
4. Fill out the product. Make sure to select the correct category and VAT rate.

Sort how categories and products are displayed on your POS

1. Go to "POS" in the Portal menu on the left
2. Go to "POS Layout"
3. Drag and drop categories to change the order they are displayed on your POS
4. To change the order of your products, click on a category. You can now sort all products within that category.
5. Changes are saved automatically 
   

Remember to always refresh your POS whenever you are done making changes in the portal.
