Other Payment Methods

What is "Other Payment Methods"?

This feature is designed to facilitate the registration of payments from platforms such as Just Eat, Wolt, and similar services. It is particularly relevant for businesses subject to the new digital sales registration requirements from the Danish tax authority.

Why Use "Other Payment Methods"?

Using this feature provides a clear overview of where payments originate, making bookkeeping easier for both you and your accountant. It also helps ensure that all payments are correctly registered and comply with Skat's digital sales registration requirements.

How to Set Up Other Payment Methods

You can set up all the additional payment methods you need through the Flatpay Portal:

  1. Go to Store Settings.
  2. Open Other Payments.
  3. Click + Add.
  4. Enter the payment method details, including the name, status, and type. Be sure to select Active under Status, otherwise the payment method will not appear in your POS system.
  5. Click Save Changes.

How to Use "Other Payment Methods"

  1. Navigate to the sales menu when you are ready to register a payment.
  2. Click the Other button to register a payment that is neither card nor cash.
  3. Select the correct payment method from the list you created in the Flatpay Portal.
  4. Confirm the payment. The system will register the transaction under the selected payment method, and the sales report will display the chosen label.

Important to Note

This is not a technical integration with external platforms such as Wolt or Just Eat. Instead, a label is created in your sales reports indicating that the payment was registered using another payment method.
